
CUG and Anhalt University of Applied Sciences officially launched the CUG-Anhalt Institute of Intelligent Engineering and Sustainable Development (hereinafter referred to as CUG-Anhalt) on October 12.
Attendees included LIU Jie (Party Secretary of CUG), LI Jianwei (President of CUG), and Jörg Bagdahn (President of Anhalt), Lothar Koppers (Vice President of Anhalt).
CUG-Anhalt will launch three undergraduate programs: Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation; Geospatial Information Engineering; and Automation. The inaugural class will be the “pioneering cohort” of this China-Germany partnership.

CUG President LI Jianwei stated that the institute marks a solid step forward in international cooperation, aiming to establish a new model through university-industry collaboration.

Anhalt President Bagdahn spoke highly of the efficiency of the cooperation, noting the complementary industrial systems of both countries and anticipating mutual benefits in intelligent manufacturing and sustainable development.
