In the “Leica Cup” 10th National University Metallographic Skills Competition ended on October 14, CUG team won the second prize for groups sitting in 18th place nationally, FAN Zehan from the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information won the first prize for individuals, LIU Chaofan and XU Feiyang won second prizes for individuals, and teachers XU Linhong and ZHAO Quan won the excellent instructor awards.
The 10th competition was organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and 1,109 contestants of 371 teams from 370 universities participated in the finals. During the competition, contestants were required to complete grinding, polishing, etching, microscopic observation, and other operations within 30 minutes.
