CUG Wins 18 Awards in Hubei Provincial Competition of China “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for College Students

The final round of the 7th Hubei Provincial Competition of China International “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for College Students came to an end on July 30. After the group match and golden award qualifying match, CUG students won 6 golden awards, 2 silver awards, and 10 bronze awards, hitting a record high.

In the final round of Hubei Provincial Competition, 6 of the 8 CUG teams stood out from the fierce battle and entered the gold award qualifying match. Finally, they achieved advantage in the gold medal qualifying match and were ranked in the priority order to advance to the national finals.

The 7th China International “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for College Students, three-tier competitions at school, provincial, and national level, is organized by 10 ministries including the Ministry of Education. Out of more than 68,000 projects from 131 higher education institutions in Hubei province, 329 entered the final round, covering big data, AI, chip technology, intelligent environmental protection, rural revitalization, etc. In the end, some of the awarded projects will be selected for the national finals.
