CUG and China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing.HUANG Xiaomei, Secretary of the Party Committee of CUG, and ZHANG Yuzhuo, Chairman of Sinopec Group, witnessed the signing. According to the agreement, the two parties will join hands in education and research & development to contribute to national energy security.
ZHANG Yuzhuo hoped that both sides would work together to progress major projects, explore new modes of enterprise-university cooperation, and pursue innovation-driven development.
MA Yongsheng,Director of Sinopec Group, recognized the talents and scientific achievements CUG has brought to the industry of oil and gas exploration. He wanted both sides to tap fully into each other’s strengths and seize opportunities in the new round of scientific and technological revolution.
HUANG Xiaomei expressed that CUG would contribute its wisdom to the petrochemical and energy industry of the country through the cooperation.
WANG Yanxin anticipated in-depth cooperation between the two sides in the integration of industry and education, planning for major research projects, research on new energy technologies, international cooperation and exchanges, etc.
