The National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences announced the final decisions on the funding of the National Social Science Fund (NSSF) for major projects of 2019 on December 4. CUG project “Study on the Risk Management of the Supply of Strategic Rare Earths, Scarce Mineral Resources, and Scattered Mineral Resources in China” chaired by Prof. WU Qiaosheng from the School of Economic Management was funded.
Major projects of the NSSF are the highest-funded and most authoritative among all the projects funded by the NSSF. CUG has received the NSSF for major projects for four years in a row.
