CUG Professor Elected as a Fellow of Chinese Association of Automation

Prof. WU Min from the School of Automation was elected as a Fellow of Chinese Association of Automation (CAA) on the 2019 Chinese Automation Congress (CAC 2019) on November 24.

His current research interests include theory and applications of advanced control, control and optimization of complex systems, and technologies and applications of intelligent systems. He has been included in the list of Thomson Reuters’ Highly Cited Researchers from 2014 to 2016, and he is also a Fellow of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).

The CAA is one of the earliest non-profit national academic societies organized on a voluntary basis in China. Currently, it has nearly 40,000 members with 29 provincial branches, 51 professional committees, and 9 working committees. Fellow of CAA is the highest honor given to a scientist who has outstandingly contributed to the R & D in the field of automation, intelligence, and informatization, or to the development of the CAA. And 11 people were elected as Fellows of CAA this year.
