CUG’s Hubei Provincial Key Laboratory of Advanced Control Intelligent Automation for Complex Systems, Hubei Subsurface Multi-scale Imaging Key Laboratory, and Hubei Key Laboratory of Intelligent Geo-information Processing were evaluated as “excellent” according to an announcement released by Science and Technology Department of Hubei Province on June 24.
Hubei Key Laboratory of Advanced Control Intelligent Automation for Complex Systems was established in 2016 which focuses on geological resources, geological engineering and manufacturing to meet critical needs of Hubei.
Hubei Subsurface Multi-scale Imaging Key Laboratory was established in 2012. The focus is on subsurface multi-scale imaging so as to advance the scope of knowledge about the earth and promote sustainable development.
Hubei Key Laboratory of Intelligent Geo-information Processing was established in 2014. Based on CUG’s strength in geological application and the academic advantages of the School of Computer Science, the laboratory aims to become a world leader in the field of intelligent geo-information processing.
Science and Technology Department of Hubei Province evaluated the performance of Hubei key laboratories in 2017, and 37 laboratories were evaluated as “excellent”.
