On December 6th, a delegation led by Vice President Lothar Koppers from Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (HSA) in Germany visited CUG and participated in a roundtable discussion.
CUG President LI Jianwei extended a cordial welcome to Koppers and his staff. LI emphasized the importance of CUG’s collaboration with Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, stating that the two universities’ collaborative initiatives are moving along smoothly. He expressed confidence that this visit will widen the breadth of cooperation between the two sides, and he hoped to deepen collaboration in areas such as student and faculty exchanges, education, and research.
Koppers echoed the sentiment, stressing the high regard they holds for its partnership and friendship with CUG. He believed that the collaboration would enhance interdisciplinary research capabilities at both universities, and he was excited about the idea of working alongside CUG in the future. Koppers was confident that the partnership would have a bright future.
During the roundtable discussion, GUAN Qingfeng (Director of the International Cooperation Office of CUG) and Anna Beer (Director of the International Office of HSA) provided detailed introductions. The representatives from CUG gave information about their individual schools, including historical backgrounds, scientific advances, international collaborations, and research accomplishments, and expressed a desire for more substantial and in-depth engagement in the future.
