Forty higher education institutions including Peking University, Nanjing University, Zhejiang University, and Tongji University have joined the Alliance. The Alliance aims to improve education quality, share resources, and facilitate teacher professional development.
In the classic field geological routes and on-site teaching session, more than 110 delegates, led by two professors, Zhang Xionghua and Shen Chuanbo, inspected the routes of Zhimao Highway Nanhua-Cambrian stratigraphy, Sixi karst landforms, Huanghuachang Golden Spike, and G348 National Highway, to get a field understanding of abundant geological phenomena in Three Gorges area and the construction of field geological routes resources of our university. In the on-site teaching session, the delegates visited Qu Yuan Temple and Three Gorges Dam.
The conference was co-hosted by China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and China University of Geosciences (Beijing).
