Four CUG students from the School of Geography and Information Engineering won prizes in the application group of “Speed Cup” First National Competition for Development and Application of Geographic Analysis Model, with WANG Zhipeng winning the first prize, ZHANG Wanqi winning a second prize, YANG Tianyu winning a third prize, and PENG Yelin winning a merit prize.

The competition was held by the Geographical Society of China, China Association for Geographic Information System, Chinese National Committee of the International Society for Digital Earth, and Nanjing Normal University. The competition was launched in August 2022 and 383 teams from universities across China participated. At last, 21 teams in the application group and 6 teams in the development group were awarded.
