The Conference on Innovation in Science and Technology of Hubei Province held on June 25 offered the 2021 Science and Technology Awards of Hubei Province. CUG won 19 prizes as the project initiators and 4 prizes as the project participants.
Prof. XIE Shucheng
“Theory and methods of characterizing microscopic transport mechanisms in low-permeability oil and gas reservoirs” led by Prof. HU Xiangyun from the School of Geophysics and Geomatics won the first prize of the Award for Natural Science.
“Key technological innovation and application of source detection and assessment of geological hazards in tunnelling” led by Prof. JIAO Yuyong from the School of Engineering won the first prize of the Award for Scientific and Technological Progress.
The 2021 Science and Technology Awards of Hubei Province granted 300 awards.
