CUG Students Win First and Third Prizes in National Final of Huawei ICT Competition 2021

In the national final of Huawei ICT (Information Communications Technology) Competition 2021, two CUG teams led by associate professor YAN Jining from the School of Computer Science won a first prize and a third prize in the innovation competition. The “Future City” team (LIU Linkai, CHEN Xingye, and CHENG Haoyun) won the first prize and entered the global final; the “I said” team (CUI Yongchuan, LI Chenxing, and SONG Zhizhen) won the third prize.

Over the past six years, Huawei ICT Competition has become a top competition for university students. This year, it included practice and innovation competitions. A total of 45,905 students from 964 higher education institutions competed in the national events, among whom 426 teams entered for the innovation competition. 50 teams were selected for the national final.
