According to the official letter of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the National Environmental Protection Key Laboratory of Water Pollution Tracing and Control applied by CUG was accredited by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
The National Environmental Protection Key Laboratory of Water Pollution Tracing and Control was established by CUG in cooperation with China Three Gorges Corporation. Oriented to the major needs of precise, scientific, and legal prevention and control of water pollution in China, the key laboratory provides scientific and technological support and talents for the fine management of precise source tracing and prevention and control of water pollutants in response to the current difficulties like water pollution source identification and incomplete disposal.
This key laboratory is the first national environmental protection key laboratory at CUG, and its accreditation marks a breakthrough in CUG’s efforts to construct a national research platform for ecology and environment.
