CUG Students Receive First Prize in National University Student Territorial Spatial Planning Skills Competition

In the final of the Fourth National University Student Territorial Spatial Planning Skills Competition on June 19, CUG students from the School of Public Administration won the first prize with their planning for Mopo Village of Shangqiu City in Henan Province. Their supervisors, HU Shougeng and YANG Shengfu were given the “Outstanding Supervisor Award”.

The team members were juniors ZHU Yanyu, CHENG Haonan, HU Kaichun, and HUANG Wudi. Their entry integrated the country’s rural vitalization strategy, beautiful countryside project, and the “red culture” of Mopo Village, aiming to transform it into a multifunctional village.

The Fourth National University Student Territorial Spatial Planning Skills Competition was designed to expand university students’ knowledge and improve their territorial spatial planning skills.
