During the 6th National Collegiate Art Show in Chengdu City of Sichuan Province, CUG’s the Fifth Element Chorus stood out among 364 teams from 198 higher education institutions and won the first prize. The Fifth Element Chorus completed two songs which honored the Red Army during the Long March with their subtle artistic processing. It was the second time that CUG had won the first prize in the show. CUG, earning the outstanding organization award, was invited to the opening ceremony.
