In the 8th ‘BGP Cup’ National Exploration Geophysics for College Students held at China University of Petroleum (Beijing), teachers and students from the School of Geophysics and Geomatics won 2 first prizes, 1 second prize, and 9 third prizes. CUG won the Outstanding Organization Award.
Of the 24 CUG teams entering for the competition, 3 student teams qualified for the finals and won prizes.
The annual event, initiated in 2013, plays an important role in promoting university-industry research cooperation in the geophysics exploration.
