4 CUG Postdocs Funded by Post-doctoral Innovative Talent Support Program

According to the 2020 funding list of the Post-doctoral Innovative Talent Support Program (hereinafter referred to as “the Program”), CUG postdocs ZENG Zhiwei, CHANG Jia, WEI Wei, and YAN Yingying will receive national funds.

ZENG Zhiwei started his PhD in September of 2016 in the School of Earth Resources. Funded by the Program, he will do research into earth system processes and resources, environment, and disaster effects as a postdoc.

CHANG Jia started his PhD in September of 2013 in the School of Earth Resources and became a postdoc in June of 2019. Funded by the Program, he will do research into earth system processes and resources, environment, and disaster effects.

WEI Wei started his PhD in September of 2014 in the School of Earth Resources. Funded by the Program, he will do research into earth system processes and resources, environment, and disaster effects as a postdoc.

YAN Yingying started her PhD at Peking University in September of 2013. Funded by the Program, she will do research into global change and response as a postdoc at CUG.

The Program is a government-funded program which aims to encourage and support excellent postdocs and their researches. Those who are sponsored can get 300,000 yuan per person per year or 630,000 yuan per person for two years. The Program funds 400 postdocs in 63 disciplines for 2020.
