CUG Wuhan Successfully Holds CCC2018

The 37th Chinese Control Conference (CCC2018) was held through July 25-27, 2018 in Wuhan, China, hosted by the Technical Committee on Control Theory (TCCT) of Chinese Association of Automation (CAA) in collaboration with Systems Engineering Society of China (SESC), and locally organized by School of Automation, China University of Geoscience, Wuhan.

CCC2018 brings together an international community of researchers and practitioners to discuss new research results, perspectives and future developments and innovative applications in the field of systems and control. The conference featured plenary talks, panel discussions, invited sessions, workshops, oral and poster sessions. Plenary speakers include Academician Lei Guo, Professors Brian D. O. Anderson, Xiaoming Hu, Francesco Bullo, Junlong Chen, Kouhei Ohnishi and Jie Huang.

A total of 2,400 experts, scholars and engineers from 24 countries and regions participated in the conference, submitting altogether 2,704 papers, with 1,840 (95% in English) presented and selected for the conference proceedings, covering 45 research areas including Systems and Control Theory, Nonlinear Systems and Control and related areas.

The annual Chinese Control Conference is internationally recognized as a significant scientific and engineering conference dedicated to the advancement of the theory and practice of systems and control, the first being held in 1979. CCC 2018 was co-sponsored by Chinese Academy of Sciences, Asian Control Association, IEEE Control Systems Society and other renowned institutions and organizations. This year’s conference was chaired by Prof. Min Wu, Dean of School of Automation, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan.
