CUG Has Become Organizational Member of United Nations Association of China

According to the decision of the 7th plenary assembly of the United Nations Association of China (UNA-China), CUG is now an organizational member from 2023 to 2028.

Up to now,UNA-China has 73 organizational members, over 20 of which are higher education institutions like Peking University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Renmin University of China, Fudan University, and Tsinghua University. As an organizational member, CUG has the priority to attend UNA-China conferences and events. Besides, UNA-China will mobilize resources to facilitate research on the UN issues and international organizations by higher education institutions and think tanks plus preparation of future leaders and experts for international organizations.

UNA-China is the only nationwide non-governmental organization in China devoted to the promotion of the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter. Its membership is open to the general public and social entities that are enthusiastic about the cause of the UN. UNA-China’s Board consists of senior diplomats, renowned scholars, entrepreneurs,and social activists who are keen on promoting the cause of the UN.
