Prof. WANG Lizhe from the School of Computer Science won the Innovator Award in the 8th College GIS (Geographic Information System) Forum held in Guangzhou from November 7 to 8. He also gave a lecture titled “Earth and Big Data: An Information Framework for the Sustainable Development of Earth” as a invited speaker. The College GIS Forum has been held every other year since 2006.
