YIN Hongfu, member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and former president of CUG, was invited to the CCTV interview TV show “My School Days”, and the 60-minute show was broadcast on September 12. LAI Xulong, YIN’s student and vice president of CUG, was also invited as the special guest.

YIN was one of the earliest scientists of stratigraphic paleontology after the founding of People’s Republic of China. In his nearly 60 years of teaching, he supervised nearly 50 doctors and postdoctoral fellows, many of whom are outstanding scholars.
