CUG Students Win 6 Medals at 1st Asian University Badminton Championship

CUG students won 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 3 bronze medals in the 1st Asian University Badminton Championship, which was held in Taipei, P. R. China from September 16 to 21.

DU Peng and NI Bowen won the gold medal of women’s doubles; XIE Haonan and WANG Haotian won the gold medal of men’s doubles; the silver medal of mixed doubles went to TAO Jianqi and NI Bowen; SI Tujin took the bronze medal of women’s singles; ZHANG Songye and TAO Jianqi took the bronze medal of men’s doubles; ZHANG Songye and DU Peng took the bronze medal of mixed doubles.

The 1st Asian University Badminton Championship attracted 102 athletes and officials from 8 countries and regions in Asia.
