CUG Teacher Wins 2 Gold Medals and 2 Silver Medals at the 2019 FINA World Masters Championships

At the 2019 FINA World Masters Championships held in Gwangju, South Korea, ZHAO Jing, teacher of the School of Sports Science and Physical Education, won 2 gold medals in Women 50m Backstroke and Women 100m Backstroke and broke two championship tournament records. She also won 2 silver medals in Women 4x50m Medley Relay and Mixed 4x50m Medley Relay.

Masters Swimming came into being in 1970, and Mixed Freestyle Relay and Mixed Medley Relay have been official events since the first championships of Masters Swimming held in Tokyo in 1986.
