2019 Youth Science Camp at CUG opened on July 15. In the following 6 days, 195 students from 41 high schools of 7 provinces and cities will visit CUG and experience the charm of geosciences.
WANG Hua, Vice President of CUG, gave an introduction of CUG. He said that geosciences were the subjects with bright prospects and he hoped that the students could learn more and cultivate interestsin geosciences on the camp. He'd like to see the students study at CUG in the near future.
Student representative LI Yi expressed her excitement, and she called for other students to be active on the camp and learn more scientific knowledge.
LI Zehua, representative of the leading teachers, talked about the positive effects of the camp on the leading teachers. He also hoped that all the students would have a good time on the camp.
LI Haoyue, representative of the volunteers from the Student Association of Science & Technology at CUG, expressed volunteers' willingness to work for all the students on the camp and hoped the students could enjoy their time at CUG.

CUG has held seven Youth Science Camps so far. The students on the camp will visit Yifu Museum of CUG and state key laboratories, attend lectures on scientific subjects, and participate in activities like orienteering, experiencing the wonderful university life.
