Approved by the Ministry of Education in March, CUG became a pilot institution for Chinese Government Scholarship preparatory education programs and started to offer college preparatory courses to international students.
It is a milestone for CUG to become a pilot institution for Chinese Government Scholarship preparatory education programs as the university has been striving for better recognition and more influence in the world.
It is marked as another significant milestone in CUG’s cause of globalization and international education after CUG was approved by the China Geological Survey to establish Wuhan Institute, China-SCO Geosciences Cooperation Research Center in November 2018.
CUG’s undertakings in recent years, including the establishment of China-Jordan University, Wuhan Institute, China-SCO Geosciences Cooperation Research Center as well as being approved as a pilot institution for Chinese Government Scholarship preparatory education programs, highly accord with the “Belt and Road” Initiative and prove to be a vital conduct to meet the needs for serving the new-era national strategies, accelerating the progress of globalization, promoting the development of “Double First-class” project and making the brand of “Studying Abroad at CUG”. Moreover, those undertakings also exert great significance in terms of effectively improving China’s educational influence, cultural affinity and comprehensive service among the “Belt and Road” countries.
