CUG Wins 14 Awards in Hubei Provincial Competition of China “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for College Students

The final round ofthe 6th Hubei Provincial Competition of China “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for College Students was held on September 14, where CUG won 2 gold awards, 5 silver awards, and 7 bronze awards. Two teams from the School of Engineering won 1 gold award and 1 silver award; three teams from the School of Economic Management won 1 gold award and 2 silver awards; one team from the School of Materials Science and Chemistry won 1 silver award; one team from the School of Arts and Communication won 1 silver award; one team from the School of Environmental Studies won 1 bronze award; one team from the School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information won 1 bronze award.

In the 4-month preparation for the competition, CUG set up 583 projects and recommended 28 of them for the final round of Hubei Provincial Competition.

188 projects from the universities around Hubei took part in the final round of Hubei Provincial Competition, striving for 50 gold awards and 103 silver awards. In the end, some of the awarded projects were selected for the national final.
