For the upcoming World Book Day, CUG President WANG Yanxin recommends 10 books to the teachers and students, hoping that reading can enrich the mind.

The list of the 10 books is: Silent Spring, Sustainable Energy Without the Hot Air, The Origin of Species, Reinventing the Organization, Misery and Glory, Master Sun's Art of War, Poetic Remarks on the Human World, Chinabound: A Fifty-Year Memoir, The Demon Haunted World, and The Human Journey from Living in Trees to Understanding the Cosmos. These books involve history, science and technology, management, literature, science popularization, and so on.

He recommended 10 books for the World Book Day a couple of years ago, too. He once said that university students have more disposable time without pressure and disturbance from work and family affairs, they should cherish time and enrich, develop, and perfect themselves through reading.

CUG has long been committed to promote reading among all the teachers and students, and various kinds of reading activities are carried out all year round, creating an atmosphere of reading good books on campus.
