2015 CUG New year

(Correspondents Li Huan, Qian Chenchen and Li Yu)In the evening of Dec. 31st, 2014, it was decorated with lanterns and colored hangings from Hongyi Road to Xishan Road, and from the gymnasium of the western campus to the big playground. With numbers of students attending, the New Year’s Day Carnival made the campus be a happy sea.

The New Year’s Day Carnival was divided into the visiting garden carnival, physical carnival and welcoming New Year carnival. CUG Party Secretary Hao Xiang, CUG President Wang Yanxin, CUG deputy Party Secretary Zhu Qinwen, Fu Anzhou, and Cheng Jinhua, and CUG vice President Lai Xulong, Hao Fang, Wang Hua and Wan Anqing, as well as other main officers and all the CUG students, welcomed the new year together.

The visiting garden carnival was full of happiness.


Every faculty designed various interesting activities to attract students join in. The field was full of happiness.

The physical carnival burst with passion.

In the gymnasium, the sound of balloon blasting, screaming and laughing intertwined

The welcoming New Year carnival ringed out the Old Year and ringed in the New Year.

With the sound of martial music, CUG national flag group came into the playground with orderly pace, which attracted lots of students’ attention. Then, other performance, like Martial Art Performance and Dragon Performance, put the carnival into the high tide.

Wan Yanxin expressed concern for the past year’s achievements, and he hoped that all the students could study hard to make better future. Then, he showed his New Year’s wishes to all the CUG teachers and students.

Wang Yanxin personally organized the lottery of the first man of the New Year. With worried and exciting wait, Zhong Jianwen, students of Faculty of Mechanical and Electronic Information, got the reward which was a Lenovo computer worth 6000 yuan.
