Donated by Alumni, the Gate of the North Campus was Completed

(Reporter Liu Yanhui, correspondent Ding Miaomiao) On the morning of Dec. 29th, the complement ceremony of CUG north campus gate, donated by alumni, was held in the new established school motto wall square. CUG leaders Wang Yanxin, Fu Anzhou, and Wan Qingxiang, alumna donator Li Zhongrong, designer Professor Xiang Dongwen, as well as the related functional departments and the representatives of CUG teachers and students, attended the ceremony.

CUG Vice president Wan Qingxiang presided over the ceremony.

The director of Cooperation Department of Alumni and Society Lan Tingze, introduced the donation situation and the entrepreneurial experience and the fighting with lymph cancer of Li Zhongrong.

CUG deputy Party Secretary Fu Anzhou awarded the certificate of “The Most Beautiful CUG Alumnus” for Li Zhongrong.

CUG President Wang Yanxin and Li Zhongrong jointly inaugurated the donated Commemorative Plate.

Li Zhongrong said emotionally that he was proud of CUG’s development and changes and he hoped that CUG could be better and better in the future.

Wang Yanxin, on behalf of CUG, thanked Li Zhongrong’s concern and support for CUG construction, and development.

It is said that the program of the North Campus infrastructure maintenance and renovation was the largest in-constructing landscape project, which covered 30 mu, including the playground area, gate area, square area and wetland landscape area. Until now, the first three areas have been completed and the last one would be completed before Spring Festival.
